Both models feature a 36 x 29 inch (92 x 74 cm) full matrix LED display panel capable of displaying up to three digit speeds (first digit as “1”) in either MPH or KPH. Units include a standard SILENT MESSENGER control console to give you the ability to program selectable speed thresholds for the display, such as rapid flashing for excessive speed or no display for under speed threshold. You may also program start and stop time and day so that the display only operates during work zone or restricted speed hours. Complete controller interchangeability with other SolarTech SILENT MESSENGER message boards is an added benefit.

The RST-1000 features a retractable tongue that results in a very small mechanical footprint (56 x 75 inches), which makes it ideal for school zones and police enforcement zones.

The RST-2000 conforms to MUTCD standards and has a 7-foot display, making it applicable for road construction work zones and other high accident area applications.

The Pole Mounted Speed Director is a permanent radar speed fixture that comes in a variety of configurations and provides a clear signal to the driver to check their current speed. On the standard model a maximum of 2 digits are displayed in either MPH or KPH format (3rd digit is an option).The director is used in a variety of locations including school zones, construction or maintenance work zones, neighborhoods and high-accident areas where the speed limit must be enforced. School districts have reported success in using the pole mounted speed detection to reduce the speed of traffic.
